The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in America is an Irish Catholic organization.
Its purpose is to promote friendship, unity, and Christian charity among its members, assist the people of Ireland in establishing
an Irish Republic and aid the sick, aged, blind, and infirmed by participation in Catholic Action activities. These activities
are divided into three classes: spiritual, charitable, and civic.
Our Mission
The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians has a presence in twenty-six states and in DC. Our work today includes the propagation
of our Holy Faith, and to keep before our country and the world the fact that the Irish and their descendants are foremost
among the people of the world in faith, in patriotism, in a sense of justice, and in the spirit of self sacrifice in their
love of true liberty and peace. The organization has made charitable financial contributions to both national and local groups.
